To Specify The Wheel Assembly

Wheel Hub Paint Finish
The most common ways of hub paint finish are Poweder Coating and Galvanized. Regarding the rim color, aluminum and white are common, but other specified colors are also available.

Hub Styles For Both Pneumatic & Flat Free Wheel Assembly
Symmetrical Hub Style
This style of hub is consisted of two deep drawn discs of same configuration equally spaced from center line which are welded together. The most common use for a symmetrical hub is for "fork type" applications.
Offset Hub Style
This type of hub protrudes past the tire sidewall to provide clearance between your product and tire. If the tire clearance from your product is needed, the offset style is generally used. Hub and axle will not protrude past the tire's sidewall. This design helps minimize the damage to doorways or walls, etc., and also protects the axle rod.
Bearing
  • Nylon Bushing:
Usually fits on both sides of plastic rim hub. This is the simplest way to provide a plastic rim with bearings.
  • Metal Bushing:
Fits on both sides of metal rim hub.
  • Roller Bearing:
Also called "Needle Bearing". A roller bearing consists of a bearing maded by steel rollers and locked in a cage. The roller bearings are located in the rim hub and locked into position on both sides of the hub.
  • Ball Bearing:
A ball bearing consists of a steel inner and outer ring between which steel balls are locked. Ball bearings give a very smooth rotation under light duty loads and slow speed.
Grease Fittings
All wheels with roller bearings are supplied with grease fittings. The style of grease fitting includes Straight and Angular.
